Specify groups for incidents, near misses, and safety observations and define if incidents with open tasks can be closed.

You can specify groups for incidents, near misses, and safety observations in addition to the examples that are delivered with the standard system.

Depending on the data you enter during the initial recording step for the incident record, the system automatically classifies incidents according to groups, for example Injury/Illness. You can change this classification during the review and completion step of the incident. If you assign an incident group that is delivered with the standard system, the system modifies the user interface to either display relevant or hide irrelevant incident parameters. If you assign a customer-specified group, this has no effect on the user interface.

In addition, you can define whether it should be possible to close incidents, near misses, or safety observations of a given group regardless of any open tasks.

By default, the option to allow the closing of incidents with open tasks is deselected for all incident categories and groups.

1. Check the existing examples and adapt them as required.
2. If necessary, define additional entries. A unique key must be assigned to each entry.
3. You can select the corresponding checkbox to allow the closing of incident, near miss, or safety observation records of a given group that contain open tasks. If the checkbox is deselected, the system prevents the closing of incident records if they contain open tasks.
