EHS_ESC_PHRAS_SUBMIX - Identify Phrase as Substance or Mixture

In this Customizing activity, you specify whether your specification in the Substance Workbench is classified as a substance or a mixture. For this purpose, you assign phrases that you have used in the characteristic 'Mixture or Pure Substance?' (SAP_EHS_1011_005_MIXT_PURE) in value assignment type 'Substance Type'(SAP_EHS_1011_005) to the appropriate indicator (substance or mixture).

• The phrases that you use to classify the specification as substance or mixture are available in the active phrase library.

• You have specified the phrases in the Phrase Set that is assigned to the characteristic 'Mixture or Pure Substance?' (SAP_EHS_1011_005_MIXT_PURE) in transaction Edit Phrase Set-to-Attribute Assignment.

Specify the phrases in the phrase set that is assigned to the characteristic 'Mixture or Pure Substance?' (SAP_EHS_1011_005_MIXT_PURE).

Specify the indicator Substanceor Mixture.

If you classify the specification as a substance or mixture, the system generates an ESComXML file for the extended safety data sheet (eSDS).

The Substance or Mixture indicator is used in the safety data sheet output in the Check and Output Substance Type solution package.
