EHS_ESC_SHIP - Ship ESComXML File

• The report shipping component (ESH-SAF-RSH) is used for sending the ESComXML file together with the extended safety data sheet (eSDS) if shipping by communication type "Mail via Internet" (INT) is possible.

• The following shipping reasons are supported for sending ESComXML files together with the extended safety data sheets.

• Manual shipping (MAN_CALL) from the Report Information System.

• Automatic shipping from Sales and Distribution (SD_CALL) if an order (cause type ORDER) or a delivery (cause type DELIVERY) is created.

• Subsequent shipping (SUB_CALL) if a new main version for a report is generated.

• The ESComXML file is generated at the same time as the extended safety data sheet (eSDS).

• The ESComXML file contains the same exposure scenarios as the extended safety data sheet.

• The ESComXML file contains the supplier name, supplier e-mail address, material name and number, as well as the DUNS code.

• The report is sent by e-mail with the extended saftety data sheet, the cover sheet and letter of acknowledgement as a package.

• The name of the ESComXML file is structured as follows:

• Prefix: ESComXML-

• Material name

• File ending

• The ESComXML file is sent in compressed format together with the extended safety data sheet. In Customizing for Exposure Scenario Management, you can configure whether the ESComXML file is to be compressed in the e-mail attachment. Note that the document is not password protected when compressed.
