The characteristic status is used to define where a characteristic can be used. In this step, you can define characteristic statuses.

The standard SAP system is supplied with the following statuses:

• 0 = In preparation

• 1 = Released

• 2 = Locked

1. Check the standard statuses.
2. Define further statuses according to your requirements.

We recommend that you do not change the standard setting.
