SAP E-Book

In this IMG activity, you use the task profile to specify which work items are created after starting the workflow in Product Safety and Stewardship and are therefore to be edited by the persons responsible. Each task profile consists of a list of value assignment types and is assigned to a workflow step.

After the report RC1WFSUB has determined the set of specifications to be processed (see Set Up Job for Starting Workflow), the report transfers the set of specifications to the workflow step.

The SAP system creates a work item for each combination (specification, value assignment type of task profile). The work item is sent as an e-mail and can be called for processing by the relevant persons.

All changes made cause change documents to be generated. These documents can lead to new workflows the next time jobs for report RC1WFSUB are run.

Note:

The value assignment types of the task profile and independent of those of the start condition (see Specify Start Condition).
At the present time, only one task profile may be assigned per workflow definition.

You have defined the following list of value assignment types for the task profile:

  • Water pollution
  • Respiratory protection

When the start condition is fulfilled for specifications TEST01 and TEST02, the following work items are generated as follows:

  • TEST01, Water pollution
  • TEST02, Water pollution
  • TEST01, Respiratory protection
  • TEST02, Respiratory protection

Workflow step 4 is created for the workflow template EHS_DEMO (WS11200006). The standard task TS11200005 is assigned to step 4 that contains the method SUBSTANCE.VALUATIONDIALOGCALLFROMWF.

You can use the workflow template EHS_DEMO as a template.
