In this IMG activity you define the phrase libraries and the corresponding phrase groups. Note the following here:

  • You must mark one library as an active library.
  • It is possible to adopt phrase libraries from non-SAP systems. You can use all libraries available on the market that support the conversion formats of the SAP component Product Safety and Stewardship.

You have defined the number ranges for the phrase key.

A sample phrase library is shipped with the standard system. For more information on importing the sample phrase library, see the IMG activity Import Sample Templates.

Phrases deleted from the SAP system are stored in the backup phrase library unless an active phrase that originated in a passive phrase library is deleted.

Standard phrase groups are shipped with the standard system.

Note:

In the phrase library CUST, a phrase group is supplied for outputting phrases on dangerous goods documents.

If you cannot use your own phrase library, we recommend that you load a commercially available phrase library and add your own phrases to it.

  1. Specify the required phrase libraries and assign keys for them.
Note:
The phrase library key must not contain hyphens.
  1. Define one phrase library as the active library.
  2. Enter the phrase groups required for the phrase libraries.
  • Changing to another active phrase library is difficult and should therefore be avoided.
  • The backup phrase library must not be deleted.
  • You can also enter phrase groups in productive systems. In the menu, choose Basic Data and Tools -> Tools -> Current Settings -> Specify Phrase Groups.
