EHS_MD_140_05_2 - Specify Phrase Status

In this IMG activity, you specify the statuses that you can assign to an individual phrase item. You can, however, also use phrase management without status assignment.

For each status you can define whether a phrase item with this status can be:

• Edited

• Output on a report (see PhSymExpan indicator)

• Used for specification value assignment without a warning being issued (see Warning indicator)

• Changed to another status

Standard settings are delivered, for example:

• 01 (In process): You may edit the phrase item and change to another status. The content of the phrase item is not expanded on reports.

• 02 (External processing): The phrase item has been exported. You cannot edit the phrase item, but the status can be changed. The content of the phrase item is not expanded on reports.

• 03 (Released): The phrase item is released. You cannot edit the phrase item, but the status can be changed. The content of the phrase item is output on reports.

• 04 (Historical): The phrase item is historical. You cannot edit the phrase item and the status cannot be changed. The content of the phrase item is output on reports.

1. Check the phrase statuses and define others if necessary.
