In this IMG activity you set up the sample report templates that are supplied for tremcards and create the corresponding report generation variants.

  1. Import the sample templates TRMC-ADR-EXAMPLE and TRMC-ADNR-EXAMPLE as described in the IMG activity Import Sample Templates.
Note the following:
  • The sample layout serves as a proposal only.

  • The tremcard is always valid for only one class and one hazard item number.

Note: As a result of the reform to the dangerous goods regulations RID, ADR, and ADNR in 2001, the hazard items numbers have now been dropped without replacement.
  • Only one hazard identification number can ever appear on a tremcard.

  1. In the component Basic Data and Tools, create the report generation variants for the Road transport tremcard and, if necessary, for the Inland waterway tremcard:
  • Assign the relevant sample report template.

  • Assign the respective validity area (ADR or ADNR).

  • Make sure that in the Basic Data and Tools component, the validity areas ADR, ADNR, or REG_WORLD are assigned in the usage for the value assignment types that are used in your report template.

Note:
In the report template for the tremcard, the user exit VALAREA was entered in the repeating groups for the value assignment types. If you enter REG_WORLD in the value assignment usage as the validity area, the user exit causes the SAP system to:
- Output all value assignments with the validity areas ADR and REG_WORLD for the generation variant for the tremcard with the validity area ADR
- Output all value assignments with the validity areas ADNR and REG_WORLD for the generation variant for the tremcard with the validity area ADNR
  1. Add the required phrases in phrase management.
  • When determining the parameter values, the system checks:
  • Whether sea transport (IMDG regulations) or air transport (IATA regulations) precedes or follows road transport

  • Whether a different UN number applies in the ADR or ADNR regulations from the number in the IMDG or IATA regulations

If both conditions exist, the system outputs a note on the tremcard with the UN numbers that are used in the IMDG or IATA regulations as the additional information.
  • You can import tremcards into the SAP system as inbound reports.
