EHS_SR_225_80 - Set Up Server Using Service Administration

In this Customizing activity, you set up the generation server as a Microsoft Windows service using service administration.

You have executed the Customizing activities in Customizing for Basic Data and Tools under Tools → Service Administration and thus have set up themanagement server and its RFC destination.

Note:

• Once you have set up a generation server for the report display in SAP GUI for HTML or for label generation in Global Label Management under WWI and Expert Server Administration, you have to specify the corresponding usage of the WWI generation server.

• For more information about configuring synchronous servers manually, see Customizing for Basic Data and Tools under Set Up Generation Server for Report Display in SAP GUI for HTML and Customizing for Global Label Management under Set Up WWI Server for Label Printing.

Note: To call service administration in the SAP system, choose Tools -> WWI and Expert Server Administration in the Basic Data and Tools menu (transaction CGSADM).
