ERC_BACKPRO_JOBAGENT - Set Up Background Job for Job Agent

In this Customizing activity, you set up the background process for services run periodically. In the case of job agent services, this is the JOB_AGENT service, for example.

Caution

Perform this Customizing activity in the live system as well.

You have performed the Customizing activity Activate Periodic Services.

Schedule the RCF_AGENT_SERVICES report as a daily periodical background job.

Note

We recommend you specify a start condition for the periodic service that is different to the start conditions for your other periodic services. To improve system performance, we recommend you run this service overnight or in batch mode.

Note that this service will not be run if a service to create a search profile is run simultaneously. For all other services, the RCF_AGENT_SERVICES report can be run simultaneously.
