In this Customizing activity, you specify how SAP E-Recruiting displays the short profile for candidates on the user interfaces for the candidate comparison. You specify which fields are displayed in the candidate short profile, the order in which these fields are displayed, and additional layout information.

If you want to use your own fields in customer configurations, you must add these fields to the field selection catalog (Customizing activity Add Fields to Field Selection Catalog).

The standard delivery contains the standard configuration SAP_CANDIDATE_PROFILE_SHORT for displaying the candidate short profile.

  1. Create a configuration in the customer namespace if you want to use a different configuration to display the candidate short profile other than the configuration delivered by SAP in the standard system. We recommend the following naming convention: ERC_*.
  2. Assign the fields that are to be displayed to the configuration and define the sequence of these fields. If required, also specify additional layout information.

Note

Note that you must enter the newly created configuration instead of the standard configuration in the Component Configuration ERC_A_CANDIDATE_COMPARISON under Component Defined in the element Settings so that the fields entered here are visible on the user interface.

You can also make the following settings:

hidePicture: If the indicator is set, the candidate profile does not contain a picture of the candidate (default: indicator is set).

hideGrid: This indicator is not relevant within SAP E-Recruiting.

namesNoLink: If the indicator is set, the name of the candidate is not stored with a link to the candidate profile (default: indicator is not set).
