You use the Business Add-In (BAdI) HRRCF_POWL_REFRESH to control when and how the personal worklist (POWL) is to be refreshed when a specific application was started from this worklist.

This Customizing activity is relevant for the POWL on the recruiter’s user interface.

The BAdI interface contains the method GET_QUERIES_TO_REFRESH with which you can specify the queries in the worklist that are to be refreshed in the background for certain applications or application events. For a description of the method, see the interface documentation of the associated interface IF_EX_HRRCF_POWL_REFRESH.

In the standard system, SAP provides the HRRCF_POWL_REFRESH sample implementation.

When the applications listed below are called from the POWL, the method GET_QUERIES_TO_REFRESH of the sample implementation HRRCF_POWL_REFRESH refreshes the following queries at the specified points in time:

  1. Requisition Maintenance: at the EVENT_SAVE and WDDOEXIT point of time, all queries of the Requisitions POWL category are refreshed.
  2. Candidate Search: at the EVENT_SAVE and WDDOEXIT point of time, the Open Requisitions query is refreshed.
  3. Activity Management: when an activity is saved, the My Planned Activities, My Planned Correspondence Activities, and My Planned TRM Activities queries are refreshed.
  4. Application Management: at the EVENT_SAVE and WDDOEXIT point of time, the My New Applications and New Team Applications queries are refreshed.
  5. Applicant Profile: at the EVENT_SAVE and WDDOEXIT point of time, all queries of the TRM category are refreshed.
  6. Talent Group Maintenance: at the EVENT_SAVE point of time, the query currently open is refreshed.

The BAdI implementation is active by default.
