ERC_SEARCHHIDDENINFO - BAdI: Include Customer-Specific Hidden Information

The Business Add-In (BAdI) HRRCF00_SEARCH_HIDDEN_INFO takes into account additional hidden information when indexing SES business objects. You can then add this information automatically to the search query.

Candidate status is an example of hidden information. When indexing candidates, the system always saves whether a candidate has released or locked his or her candidate profile, irrespective of the Customizing settings. In the Candidate Search within Recruitment, the search query automatically takes into account (without the user having any influence) only those candidates with a released candidate profile.

1. Create a BAdI implementation necessary for your requirements. The HRRCF00_SEARCH_HIDDEN_INFO interface of the BAdI provides the following methods:

• ADD_HIDDEN_INFO_VALUES (Adds Attribute Values of Hidden Information)

• RETRIEVE_HIDDEN_INFORMATION (Determines Hidden Information for Search Scenario)

• RETRIEVE_HIDDEN_INFO_NAMES (Determines Attribute Name of Hidden Information)
