In this Customizing activity, you specify which search template elements appear in the search template and in what order.

Note

A search template is based on a search profile type. Assign to the search template only search template elements that are based on fields assigned to the corresponding search profile type.
You make this assignment in the Customizing activity Assign Fields from Information Categories to a Search Profile Type.

You have performed the following Customizing activities:

• Define Search Templates

• Define Search Template Elements

• Specify the work area by selecting a search template.

• Assign search template elements to the search template.

Note

You can assign only one search template element to search templates that are based on qualifications, questionnaires, and Performance Management.
