ERC_TELLAFRIEND - Set Up Tell A Friend Service

In this Customizing activity, you set up the Tell a Friend service. This service is available to external candidates if you have set up user interfaces with Web Dynpro ABAP.

You have performed the Customizing activity Create Special Users for Backend System (Web Dynpro ABAP) to create a service user.

Caution

If you want to use the Tell a Friend service, you must assign the service user ID to the SERVICE_USER parameter described below. This is used as the sender address for the external user. You must have also assigned an e-mail address to the service user.

Choose the Customizing activity Assign Values to Interface Parameters (Web Dynpro ABAP).
Enter values for the following parameters:

• SERVICE_USER (service user ID for the candidate service)

• TF_SMARTFORM_NAME (name of the Smart Form template for the Tell a Friend service)

• TF_SEND_METHOD (send mechanism used for the Tell a Friend service)
