In this Customizing activity, you use the report RCF_UPDATE_DOCUMENT_ATTRIBUTES to add the following four attributes to an existing index category and to mark them as index-relevant:

  • HR_APPLICATION
  • HR_OBJECT_ID
  • HR_OBJECT_TYPE
  • HR_STATE

You also define the attributes on the TREX side. The report then determines all documents that are attachments in order to specify their attribute values and to transfer them to Search and Classification (TREX) for indexing.

  • This Customizing activity is necessary only if you use TREX below version 7.10.18.0. As of TREX version 7.10.18.0, this Customizing activity is obsolete.
