ERC_V77RCF_ACTREF_PL - Link Activity Types with Referencing Activity Types

In this Customizing activity, you link activity types of the activity categories Status Change, Qualifying Event, and Questionnaire with activity types of the category Invitation. When the user creates the relevant activity, a suitable linked activity of the category Invitation is then available that the user can use to send the activity.

Note

Via the Customizing activity Assign HR Object Types to Activity Types, you must have already assigned the referencing activity type to at least those HR object types to which the referenced activity type is also assigned. The system filters out any referencing activity types that do not fulfill this condition from the value help (F4 help) for the referencing activity types. You cannot enter these activity types manually.

You assign the activity type 3020 Invite to Interview to the activity type 2020 Job Interview. When the user creates an activity of the activity type Job Interview, the corresponding invitation is then automatically available to the user for sending. On the user interface, the two activities appear to the user as one related activity containing both activity types.
