This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the Web Channel: User Management and Customer Profile (WEC-APP-UM) component. You can use this BAdI to enable Web shop customers to save checkout profiles in your Web shops. The BAdI definition is called to check the validity of data retrieved from the back end (SAP CRM back end or SAP ERP back end).

You can use the following Business Add-In (BAdI) methods:

  • ENRICH_DISPLAY_DATA
You can use this BAdI method to enrich credit card data read from the back end.
  • GET_DEFAULT
You can use this BAdI method to get the default checkout profile when Web shop customers have not created at least one checkout profile in the Web shop.
  • CHECK_PROFILE_DATA
You can use this BAdI method to check the validity of checkout profile data (for example, addresses).
  • MODIFY_PROFILES
You can use this BAdI method to modify the structure of checkout profile data. The system checks whether addresses exist in the back end.
  • CHECK_PARTNER
You can use this BAdI method to check the validity of business partners (SAP CRM back end) or customers (SAP ERP back end). The system checks if these exist in the back end.

You have defined checkout profile groups in the Customizing activity Define Checkout Profile Groups.

For more information about the standard settings (filters, single or multiple uses), see the Enhancement Spot Element Definitions tab in the BAdI Builder (transaction SE18).

The default implementation is designed to work together with the Customizing activity Define Checkout Profile Groups and the standard checkout profile group (01).

For information about the implementation of BAdIs in the context of the Enhancement Concept, see SAP Library for SAP NetWeaver under BAdIs - Embedding in the Enhancement Framework.

For more information, see SAP Library on SAP Help Portal at http://help.sap.com/wec under SAP Web Channel Experience Management -> E-Commerce -> Checkout -> Checkout Profiles.
