In the first activity, Define Service, you define all the services you need for Life and Work Events. Enter a key (max. 5 digits), a name, the type (ITS service, document or external service) as well as the service address or logical address and possibly a service parameter for each service.

In the second activity, Define Name, you define a name for additional languages for each service you defined in the first step. Define which services you want to use for each language and give each a name.

In the third activity, Assign Services, you assign the defined services to the catalogs and specify the position of the service in the relevant catalog.

In the fourth activity, Define Split Screen, you define the screens that are divided into an application area and a content area. You assign an application and a document to each other here. You also define the size of the areas.

In the fifth activity, Define External Provider, you define the necessary interfaces and Web Server addresses for external providers. Enter a number, the name of the provider, the interface (SAP standardly delivers the generic interface IF_DEFAULT) as well as the Web Server address.

In the sixth step, Define Data Source, you define the corresponding data source (infotype or function module) in case an external provider can receive data from an SAP system.
