ESS_PAJP_CMU_007 - BAdI: Calculation of Default Commuting Allowance Amount

This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the Personnel Administration Japan (PA-PA-JP) component.

When an employee select the BAdI push button in the Commuting Allowance scenario, the BAdI enables the system to calculate the default commuting allowance amount according to the employee's maser data saved in the backend system, and fill in the relevant field.

In the standard system, the example class CL_COM_EE_DEF_AMOUNT is activated, by which the system calculates the default commuting allowance as follows:

Default commuting allowance = a x b x 2

The meanings of the parameters are:

a - The commuting allowance per kilometer

b - The distance for single trip

To calculate the default amount by your own BAdI implementation, you must deactivate the example class first.

Information about the implementation of BAdIs in the context of the enhancement concept is available in the SAP Library for SAP NetWeaver under BAdIs - Embedding in the Enhancement Framework.

This BAdI uses the interface IF_EX_COM_EE_DEF_AMOUNT and the following methods:

• GET_DEFAULT_AMOUNT_MONTH, for calculating the default commuting amount for a specific time interval

• GET_DEFAULT_AMOUNT_PWD, for calculating the default commuting amount per working day
