ESS_PAJP_FWS_005 - Specify System Reaction to Overlapping Time Infotypes

Employees can request to change their regular daily work schedule according to personal needs using the Employee Self-Service applications of Daily Work Schedule Management. When the employee's line manager approves the change requests, relevant master data in the system is updated accordingly.
In this Customizing activity, you determine how the system reacts when the data in different time-related infotypes conflicts with the data under checking in the following scenarios:
- When an employee sends out a change request, the system checks the changed data in the request (substitution candidate).
- When a line manager tends to approve a change request, the system checks the changed data in the request.
- When the Daily Work Schedule Substitution Creation (RPTFWSPOST) report updates master data, the system checks the new master data of substitution to be created.
Carry out the activities described in the Customizing activity Specify System Reaction to Overlapping Time Infotypes in Customizing for Time Management under Time Data Recording and Administration -> Specify System Reaction to Overlapping Time Infotypes. You only need to maintain the entries of infotype 2003.
