ESS_PAJP_FWS_007 - Define Report Variants and Background Processing

In this Customizing activity, you determine how the system runs the Daily Work Schedule Substitution Creation (RPTFWSPOST) report in background on a regular base. As a result, the system can update employees' master data of substitution periodically and automatically.

You have made settings in the Customizing activity Specify System Reaction to Overlapping Time Infotypes.

  1. Create variants for running the Daily Work Schedule Substitution Creation(RPTFWSPOST) report. A variant is a combination of certain selection criteria on the selection screen of the report.
  2. Schedule the background jobs to run this report.
