ESS_PAJP_YEA_001 - Specify Year for Data Retrieval

In this Customizing activity, you define a period of one year that the system uses to retrieve an employee's master data when he or she edits the following year-end adjustment (YEA) forms:
- Employee's Income Tax and Family Dependent Tax Form
- Life Insurance and Spouse Tax Deduction Declaration Form
When an employee opens the YEA forms for editing, the system compares the current date with the predefined period. If the date falls within the period, the system retrieves the employee's information in that year to display on the ESS portal screen.
You have made the following settings in this activity:

If an employee opens an interactive PDF form on December 20, 2008, the system retrieves his or her information in 2008 from the back-end system to display on the ESS portal screen.
