ESS_PAJP_YEA_008 - Register Versions of Display Forms

If any of the following year-end adjustment forms has various versions, in this Customizing activity, you need to maintain the version information:

• Employee Income Tax and Family Dependant Tax Form (tax form)

• Life Insurance and Spouse Tax Deduction Declaration Form (insurance form)

• Withholding Tax Statement Form (withholding form)

Each version is in use only for a specific period. While generating a form, the system checks this table first for a valid version of the form; if no entry found, the system uses the original version of the form.

When you register the versions, note the following relations between form, symbolic module and the module pool:

When you enter a new version for a specific form, you specify the start date of the effective period, and the system automatically delimits the latest version at the specified date.

You have created different versions of a form by the Interactive Forms transaction (SFP). To access this transaction, on the SAP Easy Access screen, choose Tools -> Form Printout -> Interactive Forms.

When creating a new version of a form, you must use the following naming convention:

The last two asterisks (**) represent the version code, for example, HR_JP_LLIDaa. It must be the same characters that you enter in the Version field. SAP reserves the number range from 00 to 99, and you can only use English letters as the code.

If the insurance form has 2 versions as follows:

• Version 01 (SAP delivered), effective till December 31, 2008

• Version bb, effective as of January 1, 2009

To generate correct employees' insurance forms for different years, you need to create the versiono bb for the insurance form in the system by the technical name HR_JP_LDTDbb.

Then you register the form in this Customizing activity by the following information:
