ESS_WDA_CATS_007 - BAdI: Generate Personal Templates for Each Employment Relationship

In this IMG activity, you can make it possible for concurrently employed persons to generate personal templates for the JAVA Web Dynpro application in the cross-application time sheet.

The standard system assigns employees’ personal templates per user name. Depending on the concurrently employed person's tasks, it may be necessary that he or she store his or her own personal templates for each personnel assignment for which time data is recorded.

With this BAdI, you can save the employee’s personal templates per personnel number/personnel assignment.

You have set up and activated concurrent employment in your system. For more information, see Human Resources → Personnel Management → Concurrent Employment in the SAP Library.

With this Business Add-In, you receive an example process in which personal templates can be read, created, and deleted. You store the assignment of personal templates to a personnel number and data entry profile in the CATS_TEMP_PERNR_STRUC database table.

After implementing the BAdI, the system uses the ESS data entry profile when it cannot determine a personnel number for a data entry profile. In this case, note the IMG activity Generate Data Entry Profile for each Personnel Assignment.

After implementing the BAdI, migrate the available information about the employee's stored personal templates from the CATS_TEMP table to the table with the type CATS_TEMP_PERNR_STRUC which you have created.
