SAP E-Book

In this IMG activity, you create a process model that you want to implement to mass print your employees' salary statements. It will allow you to start printing the forms after payroll has been run successfully.

You have created the salary statement using the HR Forms Editor (PE51).

You have the necessary authorizations to start printing the forms.

SAP delivers a process model as a template.

Copy the SAP process model in the customer namespace and adjust it for printing salary statements.

  1. Specify the model ID of the process model you want to copy.
  2. Choose copy.
  3. Enter the name of the new process model.
  4. Choose change.
  5. Double-click. The dialog box Change Step is displayed.
  6. Enter the customer-specific name for the variant of the Salary Statement program (RPCEDTx0, where x is the country version of the print program).
  7. Choose Continue.
If the customer-specific variant does not yet exist in the system, perform all the necessary activities for creating a new variant.
If a valid customer-specific variant exists in the system, assign the variant to the process model and save the changes you made to the process model.
  1. Choose Activate.
For more information about process models, see the SAP Library under Payroll in the SAP System -> Payroll in a Background Operation -> Process Model.

You can execute mass printing of salary statements.

  1. Call program Centralized Printing of Payroll Forms from ESS Scenario (RPUOCF00).
  2. Enter the name of the customer-specific process model you created for the mass printing of salary statements.
  3. Start mass printing of the salary statements.
