In this Customizing activity, you configure the user interfaces for the Leave Request application based on the Web Dynpro ABAP Floorplan Manager applications.

In the standard system, the objects are visible in the Object Navigator (SE80), in package PAOC_TIM_ESS_WDA. The following objects are used in the Leave Request application for configuring user interfaces:

HRESS_A_PTARQ_TIMEACC

You perform the following steps to make modification-free changes in the Web Dynpro application:

  1. Copy the application configuration and the component configurations you want to change.
  2. Replace the standard component configuration in your application configuration with your new component configuration.

HRESS_A_PTARQ_TIMEACC

You want to add or change the header text for the Leave Request form. You configure the component configuration, HRESS_CC_PTARQ_LEAVREQ, as follows:

  1. Copy the application configuration, HRESS_AC_PTARQ_LEAVREQ_APPL, into the customer namespace (for example, ZZESS_AC_LR_COPY).
  2. Copy the component configuration, HRESS_CC_PTARQ_LEAVREQ, into the customer namespace (for example, ZZESS_CC_LRF_COPY).
  3. Replace component configuration, HRESS_CC_PTARQ_LEAVREQ, with ZZESS_CC_LRF_COPY.
  4. Change component configuration, ZZESS_CC_LRF_COPY, according to your requirements.
  5. Call WebDynpro application, HRESS_A_PTARQ_LEAVREQ_APPL, with your application configuration, ZZESS_AC_LR_COPY.
  6. You can redefine the methods you have inherited from the standard feeder class. Replace the standard feeder class in the corresponding component configuration with your newly-created or newly-enhanced feeder class.
