In this Customizing activity, you specify how Internal Order master data can be changed after it has been sent from the MDG system to Financial Controlling. The BAdI Method KEEP_MASTERSYSTEM controls this. If the parameter EF_KEEP_MASTERSYSTEM returns false, it means the replicated internal order can still be changed. If the parameter EF_KEEP_MASTERSYSTEM returns true, then it is only possible to change it in the MDG system.
This allows you to change the Internal Order master data locally or with a transaction, for example KO02.
SAP delivers the sample implementation MDG_IO_SAMPLE_IMPLEMENTATION, which you can reference and code your own logic to decide whether you want to enable it.
Run the transaction SE18 and enter the BAdI ES_IO_REPLICA_BAPIFLD_ADAPT.
