This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the Transaction Manager (FIN-FSCM-TRM-TM) component.

You can use this BAdI to have your own code to automatically fill in the raw exposures that have not been filled by the person who created the raw exposure after the raw exposure is saved and before the exposure position(s) is (are) created.

You can use this BAdI implementation to fill the following fields:

  • Company Code
  • Country/Region
  • Profit Center
  • Transaction Category
  • Transaction Activity
  • Exposure Position Type
  • All free attributes

In the Customizing activity Define Exposure Fields Derivation Strategy you have to create a step with type "Enhancement". This step will subsequently call the BAdI.

Once this step is created, the derivation strategy will be executed, thereby executing the BAdI enhancement.

In the standard system, there is no activated BAdI implementation.

While entering the raw exposure, you do not need to enter the company code. By using derivation rules, the value for the company code can be derived. You can use this BAdI if you need more coding than simple rules.
