Determine additional attributes for asset classes.

In this Customizing activity, you determine additional attributes for asset classes.

Form Number

The Annex 16 report uses the data in this Customizing activity to select the asset classes for Annex 16 forms:

• If you select Annex 16-1, 16-2 or 16-4 on the report selection screen for Annex 16, the report excludes all asset classes to which you assign Annex 16-6 or Annex 16-8.

• If you select Annex 16-6 or 16-8 on the report selection screen for Annex 16, the report includes all asset classes to which you assign Annex 16-6 or Annex 16-8.

In this configuration step, you determine additional attributes for asset classes.

Form Number

The Annex 16 report uses the data in this configuration step to select the asset classes for Annex 16 forms:

• If you select Annex 16-1, 16-2 or 16-4 on the report selection screen for Annex 16, the report excludes all asset classes to which you assign Annex 16-6 or Annex 16-8.

• If you select Annex 16-6 or 16-8 on the report selection screen for Annex 16, the report includes all asset classes to which you assign Annex 16-6 or Annex 16-8.

Note: You do not need to explicitly specify that an asset class is relevant for Annex 16-1, 16-2 or 16-4.

Leased Assets for Foreign Companies

You use the Leased Asset for Foreign Companies indicator for the Annex 16-4 form to specify old Straight Line Method (SLM) during leasing period abroad.
