FAGL_V_FAGL_T8A30 - Assign Default Profit Center to Accounts
ABAP Short Reference Fill RESBD Structure from EBP Component StructureThis documentation is copyright by SAP AG.
In this process step, you define a default profit center for each company code and account interval.
The default profit center is derived under the following conditions:
- No profit center is specified in the posting
- The general ledger account is a bank account or the line item is a company code clearing item
Derivation occurs when the posting is made.
Note:
It only makes sense to derive a default profit center if a profit center cannot be determined automatically. This automatic determination takes place:
- From the cost object
- Via inheritance from other lines items of the journal entry
- Via inheritance from the cleared item
For bank accounts it is possible that there are no predecessor processes in the system and therefore the profit center cannot be determined automatically. For this reason, derivation of a default profit center is useful for bank accounts.
Derivation of a default profit center for company code clearing items is always useful if profit centers are used exclusively within a company code.
Derivation of a default profit center for company code clearing items is not necessary if profit centers are used across company codes.
Select an account interval and assign the profit center to be derived.
If you leave the Account Tofield empty, the system fills it with the entry made in the Account Fromfield.
