This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the Revenue Accounting (FI-RA-IP) component. Revenue Accounting and Reporting supports both Inbound Processing and Inbound Processing (Classic) for processing revenue accounting items. You can use this BAdI to determine the inbound processing version based on the following parameters:

Input Parameters:

  • Sender Component of Source Item
  • Logical System of the Source Item
  • Source Document Item Type
  • Source Item ID
  • Company Code
  • Sales Organization
  • Customer
  • Business Partner
  • Customer Group
  • Customer Fields (provided by the extension include of the Contract Items)

Output Parameters:

  • Sender Component of Source Item
  • Logical System of the Source Item
  • Source Document Item Type
  • Source Item ID
  • Inbound Processing Version

BAdl Implementation

  • Enhancement spot: FARR_BADI_DETN_IP_VERSION_IMPL
  • BAdl definitions: FARR_BADI_DETERMINE_IP_VERSION

The fallback BAdI implementation implicitly derives the Inbound Processing Classic version.

Please consider that, to enable revenue accounting items (RAIs) to be processed by Inbound Processing (and not by Inbound Processing Classic), you must implement this BAdI.

For more information about the standard settings (filters, single or multiple uses), see the Enhancement Spot Element Definitions tab in the BAdI Builder (transaction SE18).
