You can use this IMG activity to define eligibility rules. This way you can determine the rules applying the eligibility of employees for Flexible Benefits.

  1. Click the "New Entry" button
  2. Select the desired eligibility rule
  3. Select the desired eligibility group
  4. Enter the desired period by selecting the correct valid from and valid to date
  5. For Default Waiting Period you can enter a value in the following fields:
    1. Number/unit: the number of time units for the desired waiting period
    2. Other entry date: if you want to have the waiting period start on a different date than the entry date, you can overwrite this date by entering a different date in this field.
    3. Date Type of Dynamic Eligiblity: this is the date type for determining the waiting period for dynamic eligiblity.
  6. When registering you need to specify whether you want the employee to immediately become eligible or on the desired day of the month, quarter, payroll period or year.
  7. For the minimum number of working hours, you need to enter the minimum number of hours to be worked per period in Number of Hours. Using the Actual Working Hours field, you can enter the date type for the number of hours worked. If your organization employs standby workers and you want employees to work a minimum of 400 hours in order to be able to participate, you can here select the date type in which you determine this prerequisite.   8. For "Other Criteria" you can set age limits to the eligibility rule variant by entering a Minimum Age or a Maximum Age.
