FBN_NL_ADM_20 - Create Second Program Grouping

You can use this step to determine a second program grouping. This means you can group employees according to a unit required by you. For each unit, enter a 4-character code and a description. The unit you enter can be used later to assign programs to various different units within your organization.

You can use the feature Second Program Grouping (BSTAT) to set up the second program grouping according to employee characteristics. The return value consists of 4 characters and contains the values you have just defined. The code determines the benefit program in which the employee can participate.

Even if you do not wish to differentiate, you must define at leat one group and assign it to all employees using feature BSTAT.

1. Determine which units you wish to define within your organization.
2. Press the "New Entry" button.
3. Enter a code consisting of 4 digits or letters for "Second Program Grouping" and a description.
4. Press the "Feature" button and set up the Second Program Grouping feature (BSTAT).
5. Save the data entered.

In your organization, management (MNGT) can participate in the stock purchase plan, while other personeel (OVPS) can't. You can use the BSTAT feature to make this organizational distinction in the assignment of programs to units.
