This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the Flexible Benefits NL (FlexBenNL) component.
You can use this BAdI to change characteristics of absence plans.
For example, you can use this BAdI to replace the hire date calculated within FlexBenNL. The hire date is used when determining the entry factor. The entry factor is a correctional factor that is applied to absence plans to reduce the number of available hours or days.
This BAdI does not have any specific dependencies on Customizing activities and no default implementation exists.
If this BAdI is not implemented (or the implementation is empty), then the hire date is used as determined by standard Flexible Benefits NL settings. For more information regarding the standard FlexBenNL functionality, refer to method CHANGE_ENTRY_DATE.
For more information about the standard settings (filters, single or multiple uses), see the Enh. Spot Element Definitions tab in the BAdI Builder (transaction SE18). Note that this BAdI cannot be filtered.

You use the Initial Entry date (EINDT) field for the hire date in the Contract Elements(0016) infotype; you can use method CHANGE_ENTRY_DATE of this BAdI to override this field.
