FCCX_VC_TASKSET - Define Task List Model

In this activity, you can model and define the task list models required for a complete financial close of your entity. These task list models can be defined in an organizational or procedural hierarchy, in a chronological order, and with their mutual interdependencies. The task list model can be included in task list templates for financial closing.

1. Create a task model and assign it to a corresponding business transaction type. For each task model:

• Select a closing type, such as month-end or quarter-end

• Assign an application component for later reference in case of issues reported to SAP

• For task models of task type Job, assign a variant ID defined in the Register Program for Parameter Mapping activity and parametrize the task model.

1. Create a task list model. Assign a hierarchy type, such as controlling area, company code, plant, or a respective combination of these entities, to predefine the organizational hierarchy structure for the closing cycle.
2. For each task list model:

• Create a model hierarchy

• Add folders representing nodes or groups of the financial close

• Drag and drop the task models from the worklist into any of these folders.

1. For each task list model, define dependencies to preconfigure the interdependencies between the task models.
1. Double-click a task model to maintain predecessors and successors.
2. Drag predecessor task models into the Predecessors folder and successor task models into the Successors folder of the Dependenciestable.
