SAP E-Book

This Customizing activity consists of several tools and settings for the Flow Builder (transaction code FCLM_FLOW_BUILDER).

You can perform the following activities:

Note

In the activities below, only the last one is a cross-client activity. Other activities are client-specific and do not trigger transports.

  • Check the background job log
You can check all the processed transactions using the job log.
  • Schedule background jobs
You can schedule automatic background jobs for regular updates into the One Exposure from Operations hub.
  • Delete obsolete flows derived from accounting line items and Material Management
You can use this feature to clean obsolete entries in the One Exposure from Operations hub (database table FQM_FLOW) that were derived from accounting line items and Material Management respectively.
Example
You have changed the flow type derivation logic to exclude transactions from company A. Consequently, data that was already loaded into the One Exposure from Operations hub is no longer relevant for cash management and should be removed. However, with the configuration changes, the line items that are no longer identified as objects to be processed. As a result, you cannot clean the corresponding entries in the One Exposure from Operations hub by rebuilding cash flows using the mass run of the Flow Builder.
In this case, you can use this feature to clean the obsolete entries from the One Exposure from Operations hub.
  • Change default loading class
You can use this tool to regenerate and assign your own loading class.
Note
To generate a loading class for FI or MM, a workbench request is required.
To assign a loading class for FI, a workbench request is required.
To assign a loading class for MM, a Customizing request is required.
  • Change default loading class for FI

Date Field: When processing invoices, the Flow Builder uses the planning date for payments as the value date in forecasting cash flows. You can specify a different date if necessary.
Exit Class for FI: With the example exit class CL_FCLM_APAR_HADI_SAMPLE, you can define your own logic for building cash flows from Financial Accounting. For more information, see the class documentation.
Exit Class for Bank Statements: By default, bank statement flows are deleted from the One Exposure from Operations hub (database table FQM_FLOW) once they are posted with accounting documents. With the example exit class CL_FCLM_BS_DELE_HADI_SAMPLE, you can define your own logic for identifying the posted bank statements for deletion.
Algorithm Option: Specify the algorithm that you want to use for processing FI documents. For more information, see Algorithm Options.
Example for Changing the Default Loading Class
When processing invoices, the Flow Builder uses the planning date for net payment as the value date in forecasting cash flows. However, you want to use another date, for example, the due date for cash discount 1, as the value date. To do so, you must change the standard loading class as follows:
1) Specify the Generate Loading Classradio button and specify a different date as the value date.
2) Save the change to a loading class in customer namespace, for example, ZCL_FCLM_BSEGFLOW_SAMPLE.
3) Specify the Assign Loading Classradio button and assign the loading class you created in the previous step.
  • Change default loading class for MM

You can designate the query sequence to be used to derive liquidity items from Material Management transactions. To do so, you must have configured the corresponding queries and query sequences in Customizing activities under Cash Management -> Liquidity Items-> Derivation Rules for Liquidity Items.
SAP provides an example exit class CL_FCLM_MM_HADI_SAMPLE that allows you to define your own logic for building cash flows from Material Management. To assign this class or your self-defined class as an exit, you must implement IF_FCLM_HADI_MM first. For more information, see interface IF_FCLM_HADI_MM.
Note:
If you make change to the liquidity item derivation rules, you need to regenerate and assign your loading class.
