You generate virtual InfoProviders for reporting material ledger data. You can generate two InfoProviders:

  • /ML1/COPCACT_1: Material Ledger InfoProvider
  • /ML1/COPCACT_2: Material Ledger Cost Component Split InfoProvider

1. You have set up a BW client in your ERP system.

Note: You only need the 'Embedded BW' delivered with every ERP system. You do not need a complete BW installation and you do not need to install any BW Content.

2. You replicate data to the reporting tables of the material ledger. To do this, you have activated transaction-based update or you replicate the data periodically with report FCML_FILL_REPORTING_TABLES.

The InfoProviders do not exist.

Generate the InfoProviders in the BW client.

During generation, specify all languages in which you want to execute reports.
