Japan: Create asset structures that you use to group fixed assets in Annex 16.

You create asset structures that you use to group fixed assets in Annex 16.

You use asset structures in the configuration step Define Type-Structure-Item Combinations.

The following configuration steps are relevant to Annex 16-1and Annex 16-2 only:

• Create Asset Structures

• Create Asset Items

• Define Type-Structure-Item Combinations,

• Define Default Values for Type-Structure-Item Combinations

You define the following asset structures that you use in combination with the asset type 121200 (buildings).

In the SAP system, the asset type is represented as the combination of a chart of accounts and a G/L account.
