FIAP_EBPP_LOG_CUST - Define Entries for the Logging of the Activities of Web users

You only execute this Customizing activity if you are using the Web application SAP Biller Direct and use the function Logging the Activities of the Web Users.

• The log entries use interval 01 of the number range object EBPP_EVENT. You have therefore defined this interval (SAP initial screen under Tools -> ABAP Workbench -> Development -> Other Tools -> Number Ranges).

• Log entries are personal data. In the current version of SAP Biller Direct, you cannot deactivate the log function for individual Web users. Check the data protection requirements of your country/region to ascertain whether you need to obtain the consent of the Web user.

In Germany, for example, the storage of personal data is only permitted under the data protection legislation providing the user has given consent to it. In this case you have to obtain the agreement of all users before activating the log.

For each log category execute the following settings:

• Activate recording

• Determine minimum retention period of the recordings

• Determine aggregation

• Exclude company codes from the logging

Deactivation is not possible for all log categories.

Use transaction EBPP_LOG_DISP to evaluate the log entries. You can use transaction EBPP_LOG_ORGA to delete old log entries.
