FINB_UGX_DIMENSION - Edit Dimension Mapping

You use dimension mapping when defining taxonomy elements for XBRL Reporting.

In dimension mapping, you map one or more values of a field of the BI system to the value of an XBRL dimension. For example, in a schedule of fixed assets you can break down the the taxonomy element Buildings by dimensions. You can assign the four values of the BI system for opening balance, additions, reductions, and closing balance to the dimension Transaction Type.

You have defined the taxonomies for the use of dimensions.

1. Launch SAP NetWeaver Portal or SAP NetWeaver Business Client.
2. Choose the role that contains the services of XBRL Reporting.
3. To map a dimension, choose the service Dimension Mapping.
