FINOCV_ACTIV - Activate Organizational Change Features

In this activity, you can activate the organizational change feature and the feature to transfer open items during an organizational change.

You can select the following options:

• Activate Orgl Change

• Transfer Open Items

Activate Organizational Change

When you select the Active Orgl Changeoption, you can do the following:

• Create organizational changes using the Manage Organizational Changes app.

• Change the profit center in the cost center master data only if there is an inactive organizational change with an effective date equal to the beginning of the cost center validity interval.

Note: Profit center updates in cost centers occur automatically only if this option is selected.

Transfer Open Items

When you select the Transfer Open Itemsoption:

• During simulation and processing, in the organizational change, transfer postings are created for open payables and open receivables.

• The profit center is derived based on the posting date during open item clearing and other open item related follow-up processes.

• Automatic transfer postings for open-item-managed accounts are created due to posting, before the effective date of the organizational change, and because of a clearing reset.

• The profit center is derived based on the posting date for open-item-managed accounts during document reversal.

Note: If you select thisoption and save your changes, it is possible to deselect this option later. However, deselecting and reselecting this option could cause inconsistencies with respect to profit center balances.
