FINSV_CO_PERIODC - Open and Close Posting Periods for CO Transactions by Company Code

With this activity you can activate CO period control by company code.
Activating CO period control by company code has the following effects:
- Opening and closing posting periods for CO transactions is controlled by company code.
- Authorizations for managing open and closed posting periods are granted at the ledger and company code level.
- The Fiori app Manage Posting Periods is used to define the open posting periods for CO business transactions, replacing transaction OKP1 which otherwise is used to lock posting periods for CO business transactions.
- Use the FIN_MANAGE_POSTING_PERIOD_OP report to migrate open periods from transaction OKP1 to the Fiori app Manage Posting Periods. For more information, see the report documentation.
Activation of CO period control by ledger and company code will cause transaction OKP1 to become obsolete.
To activate this function, select the Period Control by Company Code option.
