FINSV_PCDSUM - Define Residence Time for Deferred Summarization of Production Costs

In this Customizing activity, you define the number of residence periods for deferred summarization.

The system applies deferred summarization to detailed accounting data of production orders, process orders and CO-production orders when:

• Deferred summarization is active for a company code and order type. See Activate Deferred Summarization of Production Costs.

• The order has an applicable status, that is closed or marked for deletion.

• No accounting documents, which reference this order, have a posting date later than a residence time.

If you want the residence period to be valid for all company codes, just enter a value in the Res.Per. field and leave the CoCd field empty.

You specify the number of periods prior to the current period of materials management that aren't considered for summarization.
