FINS_RECON_RC0 - Analyze Transactional Data

In this Customizing activity, you analyze in a test system, whether typical inconsistencies in your transactional data exist. The long texts of the error messages provide detailed information about these inconsistences as well as proposals about how to handle them.

You can use the results of these checks to correct inconsistencies in your production environment before you start the data migration process.

In the Customizing activity Start and Monitor Data Migration

, in step Reconciliation of Transactional Data (R21), a complete check of transactional data is performed. Therefore, during a migration in a production system, you can skip this Customizing activity (Analyze Transactional Data) since you already identified inconsistent documents during the initial testing.

Note:

Run this activity in all clients that contain data.

This program parallelizes mass data processing using batch work processes (Type = BTC). Before you run this activity, make sure that enough batch work processes are available in your system. You can check this in the System Overview/Server List (Transaction SM51).
