FINS_SIS_BAL - Generate Balance Carryforward Distribution

You can use this Business Add-In (BAdI) during the Subsequent Implementation of Document Splitting to enrich missing account assignments, while creating opening balances.

• Only empty fields can be filled.

• Only account assignments, which can be used as split characteristics (or for other purposes) in the document splitting, can be filled.

• The document splitting characteristics, which you specify, must match the level of detail for the balance carryforward (BCF) characteristics.

Implement the method ENRICH_ACCOUNT_ASGMT from the BAdI interface.

This method has the following interface parameters:

• CT_ACDOCA: Changing Parameter

This structure contains the original (not enriched) BCF item. The BCF item can be changed by assigning some new entities or it can be split into several items while using the different account assignments for each new item.

Class CL_FINS_SIS_BADI_BAL_EXAMPLEis an example implementation for method ENRICH_ACCOUNT_ASGMT. In this example, a derivation of profit centers and segments (if available) is provided. This derivation depends on assets and material numbers, if these master data are active and available in the source item.

Note: You can upload data from a .CSV file by using the optional Customizing activity Optional: Import Data to Enrich Opening Balances. When the data from the .CSV file is successfully imported, it is considered in this BAdI (Generate Balance Carryforward Distribution). This BAdI is used in the project cockpit step Enrich Opening Balances to split opening balances for balance sheet accounts, which are not open-item-managed.
