In this Customizing activity, you can check your project specific configurations before you start with data enrichment activities. Data enrichment can begin after you set the project's preparation status to completed in the Customizing activity Complete Preparations.

This Customizing activity allows you to verify that the following relevant activities have been performed before you start enriching (production) data:

• You have specified a document splitting activation date that is in the future

• You have assigned company codes with cross-company code postings to one project

• You have activated the Online Validation for Document Splitting

• You have implemented the BAdIs for data enrichment

In addition, this Customizing activity ensures the following:

• No documents exist with a posting date later than the activation date

• No splitting information exists for the assigned company codes
