In this activity, you define technical parameters for RFC destinations. These parameters are used for remote function calls (RFC) to other systems.

RFC connections are necessary for reading data from the connected Central Finance system back to the source system.

Define or identify and reuse the required RFC destinations of connection type 3 (ABAP Connection)for the following use case:

  • Central Payment
SAP recommends that you define a user of type A (Dialog)for this RFC destination with the logon procedure Current User.
The user requires authorization for authorization object S_RFC with the following settings:
  • RFC_TYPE = FUGR (Function Group)

RFC_NAME = ‘FINS_CFIN_DOWNPAYMENT’
  • ACTVT = 16 (Execute)

The user additionally requires authorization for authorization object F_CFIN_TRG with the following settings:
  • CFIN_APPL = '10' (Central Payment)

  • ACTVT = 16 (Execute)

  • Central Budgeting
SAP recommends that you define a user of type C (Communication) for this RFC destination.
The user requires authorization for authorization object F_CFIN_TRG with the following settings:
  • CFIN_APPL = '18' (Central Budgeting)

  • ACTVT = 16 (Execute)

  • Central Projects
SAP recommends that you define a user of type C (Communication) for this RFC destination.
The user requires authorization for this authorization object F_CFIN_TRG with the following settings:
  • CFIN_APPL = '09' (Project Replication)

  • ACTVT = 16 (Execute)
