BAdI: Rating

This BAdI can only be used in SAP S/4HANA Cloud.

This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the Convergent Invoicing (FI-CA-INV) component. You can use this BAdI to rate consumption items. This BAdI is called when consumption items are rated.

The consumption items to be rated (rating items) are transferred in import parameter CARatingParameter. Depending on your use of aggregation rules, these may be either individual consumption items or aggregates of consumption items.

Rated rating items are returned in export parameter CARatedItems. These form the basis for the creation of billable items and the status change of the related consumption items to status Rated.

You can enrich your rating items by adding the rating information that you require, such as billable item amount, billable item currency, and attributes for determining taxes.

Your user has the Extensibility role assigned.

If you do not assign a value for the source transaction, the value is generated automatically.

For more information about the standard settings, launch the Custom Logic app.

To create an implementation for this enhancement:

  1. Launch the Custom Logic app and choose Create.
  2. Select the business context Convergent Invoicing: Rating and BAdI description BAdI: Rating to continue.

Importing parameters:

  • Rating Unit: Run Parameters: CARatingParameter
  • Rating items: CARatingItems

Changing parameters:

  • Rated items: CARatedItems
  • Rating items containing errors: CARatingItemsError
  • Messages for rating items: Messages
