You can enable the flexibility option for creating the inbound delivery at the plant and confirmation category level.

For information on automatic creation of inbound delivery, navigate to SAP Help Portal> SAP S/4HANA Cloud> Oil & Gas> Field Logistics> Supply Scenario> Automatically Created Inbound Delivery.

In Field Logistics supply process, an inbound delivery is a prerequisite for receiving an item in a warehouse (EWM process for receipt at base).

This setting gives you the flexibility to use an automation to create the inbound delivery document. The Automation ensures that the inbound delivery document is always created without additional manual effort from the user, for example, if there is no job scheduled for the creation of inbound delivery documents or if there is a need to bridge the time between job runs.

For a combination of plant and confirmation control key (for the purchase order), you can automate the inbound delivery document creation.
